This page summarises all the projects that students have engaged in in the last few years.

2nd ESO

What is a Patty?

Age group: 2n ESO (13-14 year-olds)
Year: 2019-20
Description: Learning to describe a simple recipe orally.

  1. Students watch a video where they see sketches of Bob Sponge and two teens making a sandwich
  2. They reflect on the characteristics of instructive texts
  3. They produce a video explaining how to make their favourite sandwich

Final product:A video of the student making a sandwich
Teaching objectives:

  • Learn basic food and cooking vocabulary
  • Develop oral fluency
  • Learn about the characteristics of instructive texts

We are the Champions

Age group: 2n ESO (13-14 year-olds)
Year: 2019-20
Description: Understanding songs
Final product: A PowerPoint presentation explaining a song

  • Teaching the importance of following instructions

European Day of Languages

A Biography of a Woman Inventor

Age group: 2n ESO (13-14 year-olds)
Year: 2017-18
Description: A biography of a woman inventor for Woman's Day
Final product:A shape poem formed with the biography of the woman inventor

  • Catch their attention on the relevance of women in science.

Description: Creating stories from video clips
